Customised or standard industry required medicals are available for drivers of various commercial vehicles. We also provide medicals for private drivers with medical conditions that may impair their abilities to drive safely, such as diabetes or epilepsy. Injuries in the workplace are always sudden, unexpected and can be prone to infection, especially cuts, burns and punctures sustained from tools or materials. To assist companies and their employees, we offer a priority injury management service. Companies must register with us to be included. This service ensures that injured workers receive priority triageand are treated as soon as possible.

Through this service we aim to keep minor to moderate workplace injuries out of the Emergency Departments where patients can be left waiting hours.

Our pre-employment medicals have been designed to offer employers flexibility. Choose a pre-employment medical class based what you actually need assessed. Our advanced medical offers all the bells and whistles. Meanwhile, our basic or budget medical only covers functional requirements. You can also add optional extras to any class to gain all the information you need for the right price. Choose from:

Basic – Class 3
Covering medications, existing conditions, former injuries, risk factors, fatigue and general health.

Standard – Class 2
Covering everything in class 3 with the addition of a comprehensive medical history, and basic physical examination to assess sight, hearing and heart function.

Advanced – Class 1
Covering everything in class 2 with the addition of a comprehensive physical examination and general psychological assessment

Our return to work assessments assist with the prevention of re-injury, and ensure that employees are capable of safely meeting the needs of their positions.

These assessments cover

• load bearing,
• weight lifting,
• grip strength and
• flexibility.

Each medical focuses on the area of concern only, making them relatively quick and cost effective. In some cases employees can also return for light duties, which our medical examiners provide support and advice on so appropriate allowances can be made for the employee. A work clearance certificate is issued so employers can be sure that their workers are fit for duties specified.

For some medicals these extras are automatically included. However pre-employment, return-to-work, and custom medicals may only include these extras if requested.
